Pushing the boundaries further with STL Mutiverse fibre, we have now designed and manufactured a groundbreaking 4-core uncoupled single-mode multicore fiber (MCF) with exceptional performance, achieving cross-talk of ≤ -25 dB over a 50 km length. We achieved 80 Tb/s transmission over a 50 km 4C-MCF in an un-amplified optical network by enabling simultaneous transmission across all four cores.
