NTET announced the completion of a major investment in new production lines and warehouse space at its factory in Catania, Sicily, dedicated to the production of corrugated and smooth HDPE conduits for telecommunications and energy applications.
This expanded microduct and conduit production facility, along with the manufacturer’s second factory in Milan, is a response to the increased demand from the European market for double-walled corrugated conduits of large diameters (from 40 to 200 mm) intended as flexible conduits for telecommunications and energy cables laid directly in the ground. Upon request, the corrugated conduits can be supplied with a factory-made cable pull cord.
The plant also produces HDPE conduits for fiber optic cables, for jacking and HDD drilling, and as large-diameter conduits (40-250 mm) supplied as straight pipes and 50-100 m coils.
Another new product group are corrugated drainage pipes manufactured in diameters from 63 mm to 1200 mm along with appropriate connectors and accessories.
